About

My keen eye spots something to point and click whenever I am out and about and if my Pentax K1000 was still working, I would drag that along for the ride as well. My subjects du jour move at the speed of light at times and since they are now in school, I am inspired to shoot nature images for my folia or nest. I hope to show you simple ways to make your nest your own.

How Do You Like Your Folia?

aesthetically compelling       edgy       whitewashed & whimsical      a good amount of color

sophisticated               bohemian             living with art                simply cozy

I can help you fulfill any mood you desire to live in. But first things first–allow me to…

  • Eliminate your clutter
  • Present other options for items
  • Explain how to maintain a clutter-free space
  • Routinely maintain your desired space or spaces

I am happy to meet with you for a complimentary folia consultation. After getting acquainted with you, I can begin creating your cozy nest. I will plan, design, execute and provide tips to manage your particular space of interest clutter-free. Since the consultation will familiarize me with your design style, I will first utilize your items to organize belongings, refurbish belongings to desired style, or shop for appropriate solutions to match your budget. No space is too big or too small. Is your nest in order? If your drawers, cupboards, closets, attic, or garage are jammed packed with items you do not even remember you have–it’s not completely in order is it?

  1. HI, thanks for stopping by my blog. I have enjoyed visiting yours. It is fascinating to meet the last person who doesn’t use their phone as a camera. I am your opposite number who is blown away by the idea of having a visual recording device with him at all times that fits in my pocket. You are a gifted shooter.

    • My pleasure and thank you for meandering on over here. Well, I have since received a new phone (after six years) it finally stopped working, so now I have no choice but to have this mind-boggling all in one mini device with me at all times for a spontaneous shot. Even though it is handy on occassion, when I take the time to style something then there is no question my manual Cannon is still the one.

  2. Hi
Great blog and great clutter-free concept! Thanks for stopping by Sweet Almond. It seems that you used to not use your phone as a camera, which reminds me of my mother because she still carries a camera everywhere she goes and doesn’t rely on cell phones.
I love the declutter nature of your blog, a feng shui principle I follow – and will soon change around the house as the Chinese New Year approaches.
Happy New Year and happy nesting as you say

    • Thank you for your thoughtful words and it was a delight to come across your blog! My cell has since been replaced when it no longer functioned even as a phone, so I occasionally use my cell phone now for a picture if I am out and about without my manual one. Happy New Year to you as well may you find peace and happiness when you make your changes in your nest.

  3. Thanks for digging through my Pages and liking my one on – A love letter to Hostess Ho Ho’s NOT. I wrote that some time ago, but stand by the sentiment. Have a great day!

    • Of course the title caught my eye…I am battling these boxed treats with my little bears all the time not in our nest but they are readily available in schools and everywhere else their social circles take them.

  4. When our lives are de-cluttered, their quality improves. I’m the queen of basic and frugal living, while seeing the world. No nest, and no rooms to organize, or belongings to get rid of anymore. Not only do I use a camera for my photos, but I don’t own a phone and am not intending to get one any time soon. Life is lived off-screen! 🙂

Thanks for swinging by my blog, and keep prioritizing the right way.
