On Pendulum Shifts

I see you seeing me,

Chuckling all the way,

At the idea of it all,

Its absurdity so revealing,

And I,

Wildly alive,

Wildly diving into the unknown,

And the opening of the sky in my chest

Bursting as if on command,

Into an immensity of space

A brightness never before imagined

Blossoming in the core of my being

Flowing into the center of my surroundings

And you, laden with grief and a deep dark cloak of fading like a speck, a memory long past

Adios robber baren of hearts,

Upwards I soar into the wide streams of primal light,

Breathing in unquenchable love

Breathing out the melancholy

I want nothing of your rivers of mud,

Only to be washed away of you

Swimming upstream into the waterfall of unfolding infinite light.
