Our festive trimmings to welcome autumn days made their debut when a little someone who adores the extras decided it was time for swathing our nest in seasonal drapings. Talk of such things occurred well before time of harvest for rotund fruit with that primal color of autumn. Is there a time to be vulnerable, to journey from so far to be here? Is there a time to ask the questions to those who pretend not to hear? Is there a time to take down the seasonal frills? Must we do so before the season of lights or could we live with the mingling of the two conspicuous parings. Hey primary colors of yuletide, watch your backs for a combo hue because someone is already talking about Christmastide trimmings and there are pumpkins still to be adored.
