For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but should come to light. – Mark 4:22
The great reveal is not one of good and evil drama but of consciousness and the desire to brighten and uplift it. There’s a plethora of examples out there to remind us what it looks like if we don’t keep afloat…opportunities for us, not all are equipped for it…yet they are our greatest teachers, those who don’t confront that which is not hidden, those whose choices keeps them shrinking. The thing about choices there is always a direction to lift from your existence or to fall deeper into the darken pit, always another step further. The thing of darkness, it’s not a risk, but a promise; we can dig deep and discover the best in what is bad in us and grow from it or we can remain in blissful ignorance of it as the heart calcifies. A hardened heart will lead you into a bottomless abyss, lesson after lesson until learned and those who walk that path motivate others to elevate and to recognize that darkness always gathers around the light for a reason. I’m not tempted in the least; discomfort zone does not suit me.
“There is a light you can’t always see
If there is a world, we can’t always be
If there is a dark that we shouldn’t doubt
And there is a light, don’t let it go out.” – Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen, Dave Evans, Paul David Hewson
