when privacy is the new abnormal, pretentious and empty flirtation with the dark side looms.
“A child born today will grow up with no conception of privacy at all. They’ll never know what it means to have a private moment to themselves, an unrecorded unanalyzed thought. And that’s a problem because privacy matters. Privacy is what allows us to determine who we are and who we want to be.” —-Edward Snowden
Thank goodness for children. They speak from their heart; they know the truth and they don’t rely on experts to tell them how to feel. They just might change the world if only we can change their environment.
Everything we say, everything we do “is in the hands of the system whose reach in unlimited but whose safeguards are not.” This intrusion on our privacy and freedoms are far too precious to lose on our most treasured creations.
