To say it would have disquieted many conversations in his primary years of school would be an understatement. Not that I want to censor artists, but there is certainly a more mature time for Middle Bear to understand the undercurrents of Lesane Parish Crooks and his works. He profoundly stated, “Just because you lost me as a friend, doesn’t mean you gained me as an enemy. I’m bigger than that, I still wanna see you eat, just not at my table.” Since when did public debate shift from being in fine fettle for hearing all sides to suppressing, restricting, scrubbing and shutting down any and all sides that do not fit the narrative? Why are all decisions made from one source and how did we squander our capacity to discern motives? More disturbing, why is this new abnormal of someone who doesn’t think like you emboldened by a few so that captive groups can vilify them as a mortal enemy that needs to be silenced? Why are we imploring the ideals of communism? Why is it not held to be de rigueur that we should carry on as 2Pac would?
