Day two of schooling in our fort. Day two of intermittent rain as well. It looks like a little learner will be mostly in her fort this week and not hanging out in our sweet spot in the woods. At least we admired these lengthy and slender sentients from within a pool. The chill in the air didn’t stop us from testing out our waters. We’ll be back in tomorrow and the next and the next until closing time again. It’s good to feel buoyant again even in a late spring swimming pool after splashing about to exhaustion, purple lipped and chattering teeth.
