the less we know
and yet here we are,
another time, another place.
Unchanged, upsetting rhetoric
bellowing and barking from those in judgment seats.
We’re in those days.
Time to discern,
time to invert
and reinsert sagacity
as the devilish wiles ram mainstream
and those scripturally aware
attuned to the whispers of the spirit,
even in the darkening day as they advertise in the skies,
stand with day-glow eyes and pulsing neon hearts.
