There is nothing like a warm welcome when passing the threshold of the door of a friend’s nest or a proprietor’s shop. This week I felt that sincere reception when I visited Jeremy at Red Fox, an unexpected, enviable and dare I say fervent little shop where good clothes and fine crafted jewelry casually are displayed for your enticement.
Red Fox brings freshness, motion and adventure to a not-so-trodden part of PCH. While across from a local hotel business, the majority of the foot traffic gravitates toward the main beach in the center of town. If visiting Laguna Beach, do take a few extra steps southbound and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the Pacific Coast to see the street brimming with local boutiques like Red Fox.
A few items that you won’t want to miss in this curious corner shop are the SW3 Bespoke vest, Glam jewelry by Mishka Piaf, and the jewelry wall by Vanessa Mooney—her statement piece has been on my wish list for sometime now.
Feel like a star by taking a few steps from your nest and patronizing your local stores—it’s a triumph for everyone. Happy small business shopping! Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Take advantage of Red Fox’s all weekend long discounts.
That shop looks lovely. We have many independently owned shops in our quaint downtown, but it’s surprising how seldom I visit them. I’m not much of a shopper. Your post has inspired me to get out there. Maybe I’ll find some good Christmas gifts. 🙂
Have fun shopping locally champ! I hope you encounter the same hospitality as I did!
I miss Southern California. 🙂
It is a great little shop–even the rooftop looks ready for a Santa landing Southern California style! Thanks for stopping by!
Great pics!!! Haha kissed by a hippie…
Thank you. I bought the grapefruit scent candle from kissed by a hippie and the aroma transforms my nest instantly into a festive environment.
