Well we did it again, another move. This one was particularly ugly and messy, but surprisingly I didn’t lose my cool amidst the debacle. In a bizarre kind of way, I am comfortable even without the bed hardware (how do these go missing?) and many more boxes left to rip open…I think it’s because of this little person.
She needs my constant attention and I love giving it. Still working on connectedness to my nest…not quite samasthiti yet, however, with friends popping by and the blender-a-mixing…things can wait another day or two. Cheers!
I’m so impressed you managed a move so soon after having a baby. So many life changes at once! But good ones, no doubt. I love the shots you took of your sweetie. 🙂

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a choice, but now that it’s over at least my little love bug is not mobile just yet, or else I wouldn’t get anything accomplished. Lovely to hear that you enjoy the photos.

Oh that’s right, I remember you saying something about having to move. Wasn’t your landlord selling the place?

Yes, such a hassle, at least I am giving my boxes to a friend who will be moving soon, yeah for reusing!

That should be a huge help for her. It’s always a challenge to find enough boxes.

Yes, and I always feel bad if they go right into the recycling bin when they have the potential to help someone else out in a move.

What a lot of work this move must have been, Cristina! But you always seem ready to acknowledge that the children are the first priority, and as much as you would like to have everything in its place, your photos show that the baby was not feeling the stress, and I’m sure that was on your mind! I look forward to hearing more about how you transform the new house into your personal nest. You do that so well! ox

Yes, you got it, lots of work and such an inconvenience but over time ( a lot more than usual) this nest will come together for us and I know we will enjoy being here and making (hopefully many) more memories. Today was not very productive for me despite being here all day, but baby bear needed more attention…she doesn’t see any of the mess! Lovely to hear Debra that you are looking forward to the transformation (you and me both!)

Very brave of you to move with such a little one. Hope you settle smoothly and comfortably in to your new home. Love her tights by the way.

Thank you dear…one box at a time, right? The boys love the foxes, but Papa Bear not so much, he calls them lederhosen.

She is fascinated by them as well, she just discovered them the other day as she fixed her glaze on them. She awaits your embrace.
