Amazing because her position was the heartbeat of the office constantly bombarded with a barrage of random tasks (the harder they hit, the harder she worked without complaint) and pulled everything off magnificently.
So it is with illustrious pleasure to introduce you to her works; it’s easy to see how anyone can become an unabashed fan of her works of art or prose. So versatile in her graphic designs, I knew she was the one to fine-tune thefolia brand…check out my new blog banner…isn’t she amazing? I have been thinking about my logo for some time now and since manifesting my idea into graphics is outside my purview, I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a few dabs of Maribel’s brushstrokes. Recently, I spruced up her art studio to help jump start her new mission…taking the plunge in her design world in her very own nest. Some people want more out of life and I prefer to exchange cards with them. Best of luck to you Maribel…even her name has a melodic, heartening kind of ring to it, non? Looking forward to more collaborations with her in the future especially the delighting July project. Do you work from your nest? If so have you dedicated time in creating a productive little nook?
The images are great and your banner looks wonderful. And I love the black desk with brown drawers. I’ve always loved furniture that mixes wood colors like that.

Thank you! I paid $30 for that desk on craigslist and had black stain so I painted parts of it black. I ended up giving it away since I didn’t even have a chance to list it on craigslist before the move…going on two weeks and still looking for the bed hardware. Hope to have this nest up and running soon!

Happy to hear that my work inspires you Debra. Do transform your desk area into something that makes you happy and incorporate a little “breathelighter” characteristics. Is it near your garden? It’s always a bonus when you have a window looking out into nature.
