Catch Me If You Can

The guy on the left looks determined. The guy on the right looks confident, maybe even a bit bored. Either way kudos to them both. I couldn’t do this now that’s for sure. I never cared for it back then, running that is. I just wanted to be on the team to do hurdles and hang out with friends. Coach amused me once and awhile for some meets, but my limbs aren’t built for hurdles. These days the only time you’ll catch me running is if someone is chasing me. One more meet to go and already it’s the end of the season. The end of one thing only means the start of another.
