Forsaken, forgotten & forever adrift
So many like yours, lost and adrift.
I will not forsake my own.
For the nights you promised fireworks,
were merely distractions from the climbing stars of the purple dusk.
I listened through your ears and saw through your eyes,
they were not mine to hear nor to see.
Do you recall the light you brought me?
These days won’t last forever,
But the light will lead us to the night that runs over.
Do you recall now?
From cosmic dust in search of the unseen.
We the stardust of yesterday, learn to let go of the haunting.
Arising from the meadows of my heart into the absolute forever and always.
Do you remember anything at all beyond the twilight time?
