I awoke a bit frazzled when not only the sway of the leaves on the trees picked up some but the air temperature dropped over twenty degrees. Did I sleep through summer before it even arrived? It’s still a portrait of abundance, diversity, richness and fertility out there, but I slipped into my high-rise cigarette pants and a fuzzy sweater and flitted in here to warm up by these beauties. Captivated by what looks like a simmering sea at my feet, I took a moment for my heart to flutter into this dance party that had aroused the milieu embracing me. I’ll take this light show for now until I reunite with those waters.
