Shape of My Heart

I found a love for me,
frothy and sweet.
Darling you taste perfect right now.
Feeling through
the tension, the struggle, the submission without a touch of tenderness
all for your cursed luck, so you reckoned.
Inattentive thoughts and all that talk…money for your art.
Believed in it all, didn’t we though, all of us
you’ve been all over and they’ve been all over you,
Well if I were to preach; I’d be stuck in the mud
Instead having dominion of the knave and in the maze of my imagination
my heart sings again.
Saved by a remembrance,
It’s starting to feel real, the shape of my heart that is, that which is meant to be…ready or not here I am because the little joys are worth sharing.
